We've not spent loads of money on having the jazziest website as this would inevitably increase our prices and that's the last thing we want. In order to keep our costs down further, we have centralised our storage of wine for all our companies so that wine across the group is stored in Holland. In the logistics world for Europe, Holland is slap bang in the middle, and therefore the perfect choice for supplying wines to Winedeal in the UK and our sister companies. This means that your wines will take a bit longer to be delivered than we would ideally like, but trust us - the wines are worth the wait, especially at these market-defying prices!
Our wine buyers are meticulous in their choice and always on the look-out for the best bargains. The simple truth is, more wine is made than the world needs. The oversupply comes from years of vine planting with winegrowers concentrating on making the wine and on occasions, forgetting how to sell it! This is where Winedeal comes in. The quality of the wine is high, but so is volume. Our buyers therefore really negotiate on a price, without ever compromising their high standards of quality of the wines.
